Before registering your child at Beavercrest Community School, please check with our Transportation Department to see if we are your child's assigned school: https://mybrucegreyschoolbus.ca/Eligibility.aspx?Page=Transportation

Students who are Out of Bounds may still apply to attend Beavercrest if parents wish but please note that applications can be denied and transportation is not guaranteed (parents may have to arrange their own transportation to and from school for your child). Out of Bounds requests are also subject to an annual review in June and based on projected school needs and enrollment for September may be denied renewal.

To register your child, whether they are currently enrolled in school elsewhere (including another Bluewater District School Board School), entering from home school or are a beginner student, we require:
1. a copy of your child's most recent immunization record,
2. proof of birth (i.e. birth certificate, passport or baptismal record), and
3. proof of your home address (i.e. utility bill, lease or mortgage document). Please note that driver's licenses and health cards are not acceptable proof of address.

In addition, please advise us of any medical or learning needs that your child may have so we are able provide the appropriate supports if needed.  Copies of your child's latest IEP, assessments reports and report cards are always welcome as an aid in helping us place your child in the most suitable classroom.

Only custodial parents or guardians are allowed to register a child. BOTH custodial parents are required to sign and complete the registration forms.  If a child is not currently living with both biological parents we will need to see any of the following applicable documents:
1. custody paper or affidavit, documentation of guardianship or adoption, and/or
2. any other relevant legal documentation pertaining to custody of the child.
